本日、美術館カフェでは新春恒例の呈茶会　佐々木宗久社中（裏千家）によるお点前です

today, we held a new-year tea ceremony @ the cafe – delicious green tea was served by the Sasaki Soukyu school from the URASENKE sect

現代美術館ですから　開催中の企画展にあわせてラブラブなしつらえとお菓子で

it was a different kind of tea ceremony; the setting and also some of the sweets matched our current Love Love Show exhibition

↓ 花入れはインダストリアルに　黒い煙突をぶった切っていたりして、かっこいい

the black vase was really a chimney – very industrial – cool!

@ today’s tea ceremony, everything was “curated” by Sasaki sensei

お点前を頂いた母から早速電話がはいり「でね、ママはうちでの小槌のお茶碗でね、振るとしゃらしゃら音がするのよ〜。たぶん高台のところに何か入っていて音が鳴る仕掛けになってる。カフェのしつらえなんかもあの方じゃないとあんな風にはね〜。さすが佐々木さん〜。春からね、うっちでのこづち〜、宝がいっぱいでてくる〜。きゃっ、きゃっ」ってしゃべるしゃべる１時間

そして「来年は着物で行く〜」とはりきっていました　

本日はたくさんの人達が母のように美術館でハッピーをもらったことでしょう

Mum called me (of course, she would) and went on for about an hour, she said; “it was fabulous! I got a bowl with the pattern of a lucky mallet which makes a rather nice sound when you shake it. Everything was wonderful. Hats off to Sasaki sensei!”

my Mum is already thinking about wearing a Kimono for next year’s tea ceremony

I’m sure she wasn’t the only one to spend a joyous time today
